International labor📅 03/10/26⏱ 3 minutes↻Update07/10/26

According to VnEconomy, about 860,000 Vietnamese workers are working abroad, of which Japan and Taiwan are the two largest receiving markets. For many of you, this is also the first time traveling by international plane. The handbook below will help make the journey smoother.

1. Always keep documents in your carry-on bag

2. Be at the airport 3 hours before

International flights usually close check-in counters 50–60 minutes before. When traveling in a group, you need to arrive early to complete the procedures for everyone.

3. Procedure at the departure airport

Check-in, check-in luggage → security check → exit procedures → go to the plane gate. Always monitor the flight information board as boarding gates may change.

4. When in transit

Follow the "Transfer/Transit" sign, check for the next exit. Do not leave the transit area without a visa from that country.

5. Upon entry

Fill out the declaration form (if any), present passport, visa, labor documents; Answer briefly and honestly. Full customs declaration with food brought along.
