Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi) has two passenger terminals: T1 for domestic flights and T2 for international flights.
1. Terminal T1 - domestic
Serving domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Air, Bamboo Airways, Sun PhuQuoc Airways... Check-in counter on the 2nd floor, divided into zones by each airline; See the electronic board for counter numbers.
2. Terminal T2 - international
All incoming and outgoing international flights. International students flying from Hanoi will check in and exit the country at T2.
3. Move between T1 and T2
- The two stations are about 1km apart, you can walk or use the free internal bus (about 10–15 minutes/trip).
- Domestic - international connections should allow enough time to receive/return luggage if there are two separate tickets.
4. Present time
Domestic minimum 2 hours, international minimum 3 hours before flight time; Peak season should be earlier.
5. Other airports to know
Da Nang also separates domestic terminal T1 and international terminal T2; Tan Son Nhat has an additional T3 station - see Tan Son Nhat article.
